The following will work the SoloSpike Camps. ALL coaches are SoloSpike Certified.

Mr. Blackwell began coaching volleyball in 1989 at Kennedy High School. He was girls' head volleyball coach at Cedar Rapids Xavier High School for two seasons (2003-04), leading the Saints to their first-ever Iowa Class 3A state volleyball tournament in 2004 and former head volleyball coach at Mount Mercy University (2006 – 2012 seasons) where he coached five players who had over 1,000 kills in their career.   Mr. Blackwell served as the Iowa High Performance Director in 2013. Mr. Blackwell is the Club Director for the CR SURGE Volleyball Club.
